You might think CGI videos are only for big brands with millions to spare on campaigns, or maybe you've seen influencers perform magic tricks on TikTok and believe it's all AI. Well, both are kind of right and wrong.
There's also a middle ground where artistry and technology meet. I'm Santeri Salmi, a CG artist. I craft the impossible, day in and day out.

So, let's revisit the title of this video: How can a 10-second video cost 100k? They must know some black magic we don’t.
Well, actually, they might have 10 different experts working on parts of the project, such as the concept, filming, 3D tracking, animation, simulations, compositing, sound design, and color grading.
Some of the big agencies might also promise you millions of organic impressions, which would be very hard, if not impossible, to guarantee every time. But honestly, it only takes commitment from a solo creator to master all of these skills. By the way, all the CGI parts in this video were created by me, and there are many others just like me!
